BURLINGTON, Mass. – Sept. 24, 2018Ipswitch®, producer of award-winning and easy-to-use secure file transfer and network management software, has been named to Boston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in 2018 by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) – for the third straight year. The winning companies also compete for three Best of the Best Elite awards, one granted the highest winning organization in the small, medium and large business categories. Ipswitch was honored with the Best of the Best Elite Award in the category for medium-sized companies.

“The entire Ipswitch community is honored to be recognized for our commitment to corporate social responsibility, employee satisfaction and our ability to set ourselves apart in a very competitive employment market,” said Steven Rotman, Chief People Officer at Ipswitch. “The Best and Brightest competition strives to recognize the most influential, trend-setting companies across the country, and we are thrilled to be among this elite group.”

The competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories, including Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; Strategic Company Performance and the Best of the Best Small Business, Medium Business and Large Business.

“Greater Boston companies realize that their employees are key to business success,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, National Association for Business Resources. “The companies that were selected demonstrated innovative human resource practices. They intentionally keep employee needs at the forefront of their policies. We are very impressed by the commitment that they have demonstrated to their employees.”

Ipswitch is particularly proud of its iCare program which the company has been sponsoring for over a decade. The program enables and encourages employees to contribute to local causes through volunteer opportunities, donation matching and charitable grants. Last year, Ipswitch sponsored a wide range of organizations and was proud to donate to more than 100 charities. Ipswitch also provides matching employee giving, acknowledges work-anniversary dates through charitable donations and honors growing Ipswitch families with a charitable gift close to the heart of the employee.

Ipswitch was honored during an award ceremony at the Verve Crowne Plaza Boston-Natick on Friday, September 14, 2018.
